Born in Kent in 1946, Bruce Robinson received training in drama at London's School of Speech and Drama before making his first screen appearance as Benvolio in Franco Zeffirelli's Romeo and Juliet (1968)
Perhaps best know for penning the script to The Killing Fields (1984), Robinson's subsequent films include How To Get Ahead in Advertising and the serial-killer thriller Jennifer 8.
