Withnail & I - Ralph Steadman

Well known for his political and social caricatures and cartoons, Steadman is famous for his partnership with the American journalist, Hunter S. Thompson. The Withnail and I director, Bruce Robinson, went on to write the screenplay for Thompson's The Rum Diary,

Much of Steadman's artwork revolves around caricatures of Thompson: fishing hats, cigarette holders and aviator shades. Steadman is also known in the UK for his illustrations used in the catalogue of troubled off-license chain, Oddbins.
